Connections
Feeling so blessed this morning. Seems Wanzai doesn't do a lot of adoptions, but have already made a couple awesome connections with folks who have adopted from there. It is so valuable to have those connections, and through that we have heard there is potential to have a longer standing relationship with the foster family. Not saying it will happen, but there is a much greater potential than we imagined. For Julia(and us) to have the potential to communicate with the family who cared for her for the first part of her life would be one less loss in this picture of adoption. We still are waiting on word about travel time, but happily mailed off the acceptance letter yesterday.Wish there were more pictures to post, we got the actual photos yesterday and they have finer detail that doesn't show up in the posted ones, more accurate skin color, more detail of the cute little lips... we are going to get some copies done and get them posted around the house with our family pictures so Katie gets used to her!

Good idea on posting the pics around the house. When our son came home, he immediately got excited over his photos being in our family photo frames with everyone else!
So happy we connected. It will be like reliving our experience all over again. Blessings to you and your family

Oh and I forgot to mention we live in Central Florida so we are virtually neighbors :)
Hello from Indiana,
I always wait for the happy referral news and was surprised to see a Wanzai baby. I returned from China with a beautiful Wanzai girl on Feb. 5 of this year. My daughter, too, was in foster care.
I returned home 5 days before her
1st birthday. Contact me for trip details if you wish ( and pictures)
thanks Pam, email sent!
