Packing list-round 1

Here is a copy of what we have planned to pack, it is our first crack at it and i am sure items will end up added... We went shopping for some of the stuff we don't have last night, buying that, then paying our house and car insurance, oil change for the car, my Scottish savings side is freaking out. Fortunately I have booked a few magic shows this week and the hopes of a few more are in negotiations, so this will help a lot. We have been saving for years, I know we have enough, I just hate the idea of paying out large amounts of money, so I like it when I know I can replace aspects of it soon after.

That's a pretty complete list. Only addition I might suggest is baby ear planes (plugs) to prevent pressure problems in-flight. You can get them really cheap and usually they come in a package good for two flights. I know how important cheap is when you're Scottish-I am too. Once my daughter & I were at a Scottish shop and they had a bunch of lapel pins with sayings at the check-out counter. One of them said, "A penny saved is just a penny." I looked at my daughter and said, "No Scot wrote that."

How is that possible? There must be two planes leaving - one for the mum and dad's and one for the suitcases full of stuff.

Love 'a penny save is just a penny'...haha... gramma b

You might want to add some other stuff, like "toilet paper" (some rest stops won't have it), and "forks" (carry a couple plastic ones in your purse if chop sticks scare you, or for the kid(s))... :-)
